Core Reporting Requirements

  • Reports will be completed for every incident. This includes all standby cases, refusals, and public assistance cases.
  • Reports must validate at 98% or higher to be considered a complete report.
  • Per Virginia EMS Regulations,  reports must be completed by the time of patient turnover. If this is not possible, reports must be finalized within 12 hours.
  • Only connect to the CVB-EMERGENCY or CARE4U wifi networks with the iPad.

EMR Hardware

Apple iPads are used on all ambulances and zone car/supervisor vehicles.
