The Junior Rescue Squad Program is open to young men and women ages 13 to 18 years old interested in learning more about a career in Emergency Medical Services.
The Virginia Beach EMSÂ Junior Rescue Squad Program provides participants with an introduction to the exciting world of emergency medicine and pre-hospital care. Teens will experience the life of an EMT firsthand. Learning important life-saving skills, while building your self-confidence & character. You can develop leadership and social skills through unique career experiences, and volunteer service opportunities.
The Junior Rescue Squad Members meet the second and fourth Sunday of each month during the school year at the Bruce W. Edwards Emergency Medical Services Headquarters and Training Center located at 4160 Virginia Beach Blvd., Virginia Beach, VA 23452.
